MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chairman of Liberty Party (LP) says the Liberian society has placed the youth in a difficult position to cope with life.
Mr. Musa Bility said:” Young people nowadays have to struggle to make decisions that would impact their lives, because there are not many role models in Liberia today.”
Mr. Bility described such situation as sad, urging Liberian youth to be strong and focused on their aspiration of changing their Country to a better nation.
He spoke over the weekend when he served as Guest Speaker at the Ninth Graduation Ceremony of the Saint Paul Ecumenical High School in Unification Town, in Margibi County.
The LP Chairman admonished the graduates to go out into the society and be good leaders and citizens.
For his part, the proprietor of the school, Dr. Marcus Speare said injustice is gradually creeping into the Liberian society and such act und ermines the rule of law and makes citizens vulnerable.”
Dr. Speare wants Liberians rise and fight against injustice because, according to him, when there is no justice, there won’t be peace and development.
He then reiterated call for the setting up of War and Economic Crimes Court in Liberia, adding that such court will render justice to victims of the Liberian Civil War, and bring total closure to the loss of lives.
