Liberian Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI) President resigns

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The President of the Liberian Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI) has resigned.

Mr. Deo Delaney tendered in his resignation as President of the LBDI on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

According to a recent release from the Bank, the LBDI Board of Directors has observed inaccuracies in the academic qualifications of Mr. Delaney.

Meanwhile, the LBDI Board has designated Mr. Mark Akwenah Nyeamene as Acting President and General Manager of the Bank.

The Board urged the public to accord Mr. Nyeamene the due courtesy while it takes the next step of recruiting the Bank’s new President.
