MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has commissioned several officials of Government, following their appointments and subsequent confirmation by the Liberian Senate.
Those commissioned included Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, Yamie Gbeisay, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Wesseh Blamoh, Public Works Minister, Ruth Coker Collins, Relieving Judge, Cllr. Nelson Chinneh, and Liberia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Sarah Safny Fyneah.
Administering the oath of office at the Executive Mansion on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, President Weah said: ”My officials had been duly vetted, nominated and confirmed by the Liberian Senate, and I’m optimistic in their abilities to justify the confidence reposed in them.”
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Yamie Gbeisay lauded the Liberian Leader for their preferment to serve in various positions.
He assured the President that they will do their utmost best to justify the confidence he has reposed in them.
