MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Vice President of the National Association of Trial Judges is appealing to the Liberian Government to increase the budget of the Judiciary and the entire Security Sector.
Judge Blamo Dixon said:” Such increment will help enhance the rule of law and maintain law and order during and after the electoral process.”
Judge Dixon said:” The highest budget allocation the Judiciary has received was nineteen-million US Dollars in 2006, and since then it has suffered serious shortfalls.”
Judge Dixon made the remarks on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the opening of Circuit Courts across the Country for the August Term, at the TEMPLE OF Justice in Monrovia.
