MONTSERRADO COUNTY, LIBERIA-A twenty-five-year-old man has been hit to death by a stick at a steel mill factory along the Du River, between Montserrado and Margibi County.
According to ELBC Rural Montserrado Correspondent, the brother-in-law of the deceased, Bonolee Sims, said the incident occurred following a fist fight between Joshua Barkollie, the deceased, and his older brother identified as Levi Sackie.
Mr. Sims noted that after the fight both parties reconciled but it was alleged that the suspect asked the deceased to escort him to the nearby Du River to take his bath and smoke.
Meanwhile, police in the area have launched an investigation into the incident, as the perpetrator is behind bars in Kakata, Margibi County.
