MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A National Health Advocacy Committee has been launched in Monrovia to help in advancing and improving adequate healthcare delivery in the Country.
The Committee is charged with the responsibility of identifying all health-related issues affecting communities while developing a course of action for advocacy and follow-up.
Speaking over the weekend in Monrovia, the Chairperson of the group, Deborah Wolova, assured of the Health Committee’s commitment to work collectively for the betterment of the Country’s Health Sector.
The National Health Advocacy Committee of Liberia brings together several inter-faith and media professionals from across Liberia.
The group was launched through the instrumentality of Breakthrough Action Liberia, in partnership with the Health Ministry, and funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
