President George Weah is expected to hold bilateral meetings with Israeli President, Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday, July 4th.
According to an Executive Mansion release issued on Monday, July 3, 2023, the discussion will focus on cementing ties, trade, and cooperation on international affairs, peace, and security.
President Weah left the country on Saturday, July 1, 2023, on a three-day working visit to Israel to further strengthen the already existing bilateral relationship between the two nations.
The Liberian Leader is being accompanied by Defense Minister Daniel Ziakahn, Foreign Affairs Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemayah, and Deputy House Speaker, Fonati Koffa, among others.
The Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Wesseh Blamo, will steer the affairs of the state in consultation with the Vice President and via telephone with the President.
