President George Weah is continuing his campaign tour in Margibi, Grand Bassa, and Rivercess Counties.
The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Campaign Spokesperson, Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala said Liberia will first make a stop at the Booker Washington Institute (BWI), holding engagement meetings with local leaders.
He added that the Liberian Chief Executive is expected to tour the county for two days before heading for Grand Bassa and Rivercess Counties.
Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala has described Margibi County as a “no-go zone” for the Opposition Community.
At the same time, Cllr. Gbala has dismissed alleged reports that the Liberian Government has plans to threaten the life of Unity Party (UP) Standard Bearer, Joseph Boakai.
He described the alleged report as an instigator to undermine the peaceful conduct of the upcoming Presidential and Legislative Elections.
According to him, the party remains committed to non-violence which has the propensity to ruin the peace and stability of the country, but rather focused on preaching on its agenda.
The Party’s Spokesperson said they are optimistic about winning the elections on the first ballot based on the tangible developmental initiatives the Government has undertaken in the past six years.
Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala wants the opposition community to desist from spilling what he termed as propaganda and propagating their agenda to the Liberian people during the campaign season.
