MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Incumbent President George Weah is still maintaining his lead in the latest progressive results released by the National Elections Commission (NEC).
According to the latest results, President Weah has obtained eight-hundred-three-thousand-six-hundred-seventy-four votes, constituting 43.84 percent.
Unity Party’s Joseph Boakai takes second place with seven-hundred-ninety-six-thousand-three-hundred-thirteen votes, amounting to 43.44 percent.
The latest figures are contained in the progressive national tallied consolidated results announced by NEC Chairperson, Davidetta Brown-Lansanah.
Yesterday marks the eighth day since the announcement of progressive results began by the National Elections Commission.
