MONROVIA, LIBERIA-National Consortium of Teachers and University Lecturers has declared support for the second-term bid of President George Weah.
The Group’s National Coordinator, Emmanuel Bartee, said:” Our decision is based on President Weah’s sustained tuition-free policy at public universities and colleges for more than thirty-thousand students across the country.”
Mr. Bartee also named payment of the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) fees for Twelve-Graders, and employment of supplementary teachers as milestone achievements of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Administration.
He said the Group praised President Weah for his immense contributions to the education sector.
Mr. Emmanuel Bartee said:” The Group’s support is intended to retain President George Weah and foster more development programs.”
