MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Jarp Davies Reports) – A consignment of 1.2 million gallons of gasoline has arrived into the Country.
Commerce Minister, Wilson Tarpeh, told reporters during a press briefing Friday that additional 2.1 million gallons of the product is expected in the coming days.
According to Minister Tarpeh, the 1.2 million gallons already in the country plus the additional 2.1 million gallons expected days would supply the market until mid-February.
The Commerce Minister reiterated that government remains committed to provide services to the Liberian people.
Our reporter who visited several filling stations on Friday said the huge cues of vehicles seen in the past weeks have disappeared with regular supply of gasoline ongoing.
