MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Jonathan Grigsby Reports) – Liberians have been urged to maintain the peace stability of the country.
Liberia suffered 14 years of civil unrest from 1989- 2003, claiming thousand s of lives and left the country devastated.
But, President George Weah says peace sustenance is assured only when Liberians continue to peacefully co-exist, irrespective of political or social affiliations.
The Liberian leader praised the residents of the Borough of New Kru Town on the Bushrod Island for holding together in harmony and love over the years.
According to an Executive Mansion release, President Weah gave the caution recently at programs making the 104 Anniversary of the Borough of New Kru Town.
