MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is expected to address world leaders and climate stakeholders at the ongoing COP-28 in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, this weekend.
According to Presidential Press Secretary, Isaac Solo Kelgbeh, the President is expected to remind world leaders about the urgent need to fully support countries affected by climate change.
Mr. Kelgbeh said:” President Weah will also call for the implementation of earlier agreement reached at both COP 26 and 27, which will ensure a climate-friendly world.”
On the sidelines of the ongoing COP 28, President Weah is expected to hold bilateral meetings with several leaders, including business executives, pushing for equal benefits for countries affected by global warming.
