MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Monrovia City Mayor, Jefferson Koijee, and his Bodyguard, Varlee Telleh, are expected to appear before Criminal Court A on Monday, December 4.
It followed a Writ of Summon issued for Mayor Koijee and Mr. Telleh to testify in the murder trial involving former Chief Justice Gloria Musu Scott and three others.
They are to appear along with the telephone numbers reportedly used by Mr. Telleh from February 21-25, during the incident which claimed the life of Charloe Musu.
Their appearance followed an application by the Defense Team representing Defendant Scott, requesting Orange and Lonestar GSM Companies, to also be subpoenaed to assist in the investigation.
However, State Prosecutors have since taken exception to the re-issuance of summon for Mr. Telleh and Mayor Koijee, after being investigated and discharged by the Liberia National Police of having no link with the February 22 incident.
