MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Beusolow-Konneh) – Several counties in Southeastern Liberia are to benefit from electricity soon.
The Head of Rural Electrification at the Liberia Electricity Corporation, Moses Farley, said a team of technicians is currently carrying out an assessment in Grand Gedeh County for three weeks.
Mr. Farley said the technical team will also extend the assessment to other counties.
He named Grand Gedeh, Rivergee, Maryland and others as counties to benefit from the electricity project.
Our correspondent also said the technical team is also installing transformers and reconnecting communities that had electricity problems.
