MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-A thirty-two-year-old man is facing a police inquiry for allegedly raping an eighteen-month-old child in Margibi County.
Suspect Daniel Sengbeh allegedly committed the act after the child’s mother, Famata Kamara, left her in the bathroom to attend to customers in the market.
According to ELBC Correspondent, suspect Sengbeh was caught by a resident while committing the act.
Our Correspondent said the suspect was turned over to the police, through the intervention of the Commissioner of Nyanwelle Town, James Weeks.
Medical reports from Kakata Comprehensive Health Center indicate that the child was tampered with.
Meanwhile, the suspect is expected to be charged and sent to court following the police provisional investigation.
