MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Conflicting accounts have emerged among State Prosecutors over the usage of the Prosecution Fund allotted during the murder trial of former Chief Justice Gloria Musu-Scott and three family members.
Recently, Cllr. Swaliho Saysay accused Cllr. Adolphus Karnuah, Bobby Livingstone, and others of misapplying one-hundred-fifty US Dollars as a Prosecution Fund and diverted it into their personal use.
However, addressing a news conference on Tuesday, February 2024, Cllr. Karnuah dismissed Cllr. Saysay’s claim, describing it as false and misleading and only intended to besmear his high earn reputation.
Cllr. Karnuah clarified that at no time did he misapply the Prosecution Fund intended for County Attorneys across the Country.
Earlier, Cllr. Livingstone denied any wrongdoing, clarifying that the Prosecution Team received one hundred-thirty-one US Dollars and distributed among members of the Team, including Cllr. Swaliho Saysay.
