MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chairman of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Legislative Caucus, Nathaniel McGill, is calling on officials of the immediate past administration to comply with the Assets Recovery Team.
Senator McGill, however, wants the process carried out transparently void of witch-hunt, amid public sentiments.
The Margibi County Senator told reporters over the weekend that he would advise officials who worked in the CDC Administration to avail themselves to the Team to clear their names.
Senator McGill also criticized the issuance of an Executive Order to set up the Asset Recovery Team, describing it as a procedural error.
The Chairman of the CDC Legislative Caucus, Nathaniel McGill, also clarified that the mandate given to the Asset Recovery Team is also enshrined in the Act that created the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC).
