MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Africa Coast to Europe (ACE) Cable has been restored to full capacity.
On March 14 this year, the network connecting Liberia to its only source of internet went down, due to cable break between Abidjan and Darkar, Senegal.
The effect swept through several nations in the West African Sub-region.
ACE Network operation teams provided a limited capacity temporary link to Liberia through Banjul, the Gambia.
Over the last few weeks, specialized fiber optic teams have been working to restore connectivity.
Cable Consortium CEO and Chairman Henry Benson disclosed that the restoration is full and the nation is now back to full capacity.
