The recipients, who spoke individually for their respective institutions, promised to use the donated rice for the intended purpose.

While extolling CEMENCO for its continuous contributions to hospitals and schools, the beneficiaries urged other companies in the country to emulate the good humanitarian gestures of the leading cement factory.

For his part, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Community of Hope Agriculture Project (CHAP), Robert Bima, thanked the Management of CEMENCO for doing business with his entity, through the purchasing of 200 bags of locally produced rice.

Mr. Bima described CEMENCO MD, Gaignard as someone who is truthful to his words, following their meeting at Mamba Point Hotel for the Global Hunger Index Report Launch by the Government of Liberia recently.

Mr. Bima said during their interaction, the CEMENCO Boss expressed interest in getting rice from his company, something he fulfilled by buying 200 bags of the Liberian rice.

The CHAP CEO encouraged Liberians to emulate the foot step of the CEMENCO Boss by purchasing Liberian own rice, which he described as carry nutritional.
