MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Assistant Internal Affairs Minister for Research and Development Planning wants leaders in the West Africa sub-region to hold together to resist all forms of narcotic substances and terrorism.
According to Minister Emmanuel Wheinyue, terrorism, and substances posed a serious to the sub-region, mainly in the Mano River Union (MRU) Countries.
Minister Wheinyue said:” Huge drug trade in the MRU Basin is destroying the young generations, including the act of terrorism that must claim the attention of governments in the region.
He spoke recently in Toulepleu, Cote d’Ivoire when he proxied for Internal Affairs, Francis Nyumalin in observance of Africa Borders Day.
