MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government has assured that the election of President Joseph Boakai will never turn into mourning.
The Government was reacting to a statement by the former Chairman of the Liberia Council of Churches, Bishop Kortu Brown that the Liberian people’s victory had turned into mourning.
Deputy Information Minister for Technical Services Daniel Sando said:” President Boakai is working very hard to deliver on the ARREST agenda.”
Minister Sando said the President has already begun to act on what he calls the low-hanging fruit, including the regular salary payment.
Minister Daniel Sando described Bishop Kortu Brown’s assertion as regrettable and pledged President Boakai’s commitment to improving the lives of all Liberians.
