Police Begins Summoning Persons of Interest in Late Internal Audit Agency Boss’s Murder Case

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police (LNP) has begun questioning named former officials of the Government of Liberia as persons of interest in the death case of former Internal Audit Agency (IAA) Boss, Emmanuel Nyenswa.

On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, the LNP invited former Finance Minister Samuel Tweah to provide information regarding the death of the former IAA Boss.

Deputy Information Minister for Press and Public Affairs, Daniel Sando, said:” The LNP is currently reviewing the matter to bring the perpetrator of the crime to justice.”

Meanwhile, Minister Sando disclosed that Criminal Court ‘C’ has issued a travel ban on former Finance Minister Tweah and four other ex-government officials indicted for alleged corruption.

The four include former Acting Justice Minister, Cllr. Nyanti Tuan, former Financial Intelligence Agency Boss, Stanley Ford, former Financial Intelligence e Agency Comptroller, Moses Cooper, and former National Security Advisor, Jefferson Karmoh.
