MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia is expected to shortly launch a nationwide county tour to ascertain daily challenges confronting citizens.
The Government said tour will afford the citizens the opportunity to interact with their leaders on pressing national issues.
The disclosure was made on Tuesday, October 22,2024, by the Minister of Information, Jerolinmek Piah, at the MICAT Press Briefing in Monrovia.
According to Minister Piah, the tour is essential to ensure that the Government’s development plans align with the interests of the people.
Minister Piah said:” President Boakai’s readiness to spearheading initiatives and programs that are pivotal to effect change in Liberia. The President’s commitment of bettering the lives of the ordinary people remains unchanged, despite the numerous distractions.”
At the same time, Information Minister Piah disclosed that the Government is set to embark on more road works in the coming Dry Season.
He said:” There will be major roads expansion across the country to improve on road connectivity, which will reduce traffic congestion. The Ministry of Public Works has begun massive preparations to begin active work soon.”
