MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Governments of Rwanda and Liberia have signed a Bilateral Air Service Agreement on the sidelines of the International Civil Aviation Organization Air Services Negotiation Event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Agreement is aimed toward facilitating air transport between the two countries, promote tourism, trade, and economic cooperation, as well as strengthen bilateral relations.
Under the Agreement, Rwanda and Liberia will grant each other the right to operate scheduled air services between their territories, which will allow more direct flights and increased connectivity for passengers and cargo.
According to a dispatch, the agreement also includes provision for safety and security, economic cooperation, and tourism, among others.
