MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) has concluded a three-day Paramilitary drill in Montserrado County, aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the Joint Security.
The hands-on training allowed security personnel to enhance their skills and improve response mechanism in crisis situations, ensuring that they are equipped to protect the nation’s sovereignty and maintain peace.
AFL Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Davidson Forleh said:” Ninety eight percent of the exercise was met, and the drills are crucial not only for military preparedness but also for building public confidence in the AFL’s ability to safeguard national interests.”
Chief of Staff Forleh commended members of the Joint Security, especially the Liberia National Police, for their well-coordinated efforts during the exercise.
The three-day hands-on training, which began on Monday, October 21, was concluded on Wednesday, October 23,2024, at the Samuel Kayon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville City, outside Monrovia.
