Pres. Boakai Issues Directive on New Nat’l Performance Mgmt. and Compliance System…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has issued a directive on the New National Performance Management and Compliance System to strengthen Public Sector Accountability.

An Executive Mansion release issued recently said the directive aims to promote transparency, efficiency, and improve public service delivery.

The release said the President’s directive is also designed to transform Liberia’s Public Sector into a result-driven model that prioritizes accountability, responsiveness, and citizen-focused governance.

The initiative, as part of the Government’s commitment to good governance and sustainable development, will help public institutions align their objectives with Liberia’s national development agenda.

Meanwhile, President Joseph Boakai has mandated all institutions of the Government to adopt and implement the new National Performance Management and Compliance System with immediate effect.

At the same time, the Executive Mansion has named Stephen Mambu as Director General of the Liberia Standards Authority.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was issued on Monday, October 28,2024.

President Joseph Boakai, in a release, called on Mr. Mambu and all those appointed to continue to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity and professionalism, in service to country.
