MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has disclosed plans to construct the Chicken Soup Factory Road Corridor in Gardnerville, near Monrovia this Dry Season.
The deplorable state of the road has, over the years, made the movement of goods and services difficult for residents in the area.
The disclosure was made by President Joseph Boakai during an honouring program at the Free Pentecostal Global Mission Church in Gardnersville, over the weekend.
President Boakai said:” The Government of Liberia remains determined to build a society based on the needs and aspirations of the people, and the government will continue to lobby with investors and international partners to support the country’s ongoing development efforts.”
He extolled the leadership and members of the Free Pentecostal Global Mission Church for the honour bestowed upon him.
Meanwhile, President Boakai says the government will remain unfazed in its vison to develop the country for the better.
The Liberian Leader said government will leverage on the country’s untapped resources and youthful population in achieving this goal.
President Boakai, however, stated that to accomplish this vision, Liberians must begin to develop a positive mindset and do away with vices that tend to stall growth.
The Liberian Leader also expressed the Government’s desire to building an inclusive society, where the views of all citizens will be heard and respected.
