NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Jackson F. Doe Memorial Referral Hospital has received a huge consignment of medical supplies and equipment from the Northside Hospital in the USA.
THE 40-foot container of supplies and equipment is worth over two hundred thousand United States dollars.
The Northside Network donated the supplies and equipment as a result of the lobbyist efforts of the chief executive officer of the Jackson F. Doe Memorial Regional Referral Hospital, Victor Kaizer, during his visit to the United States last November.
The donated items include critical equipment such as patient monitors, emergency room examination tables, IV pumps, surgical gowns, gloves, and hospital beds, among others.
The Jackson F. Doe Memorial Referral Regional Hospital is among the country’s medical facilities that provide specialized healthcare services including surgery, internal medicine, and pediatrics radiology.
The hospital is servicing patients from across Liberia and bordering countries.
