MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has officially launched the ‘Government Town Hall’ initiative aimed at bringing the government closer to the people.
Serving as key launcher of the event, Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow-Nyanti said:” The initiative embodies the spirit of the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development.”
Minister Nyanti noted that it is now time for all Liberians to rally together in fostering sustainable development in Liberia.
The Dean of the Cabinet added that Liberians must lay aside their political, social, economic, and religious differences and begin promoting national peace and unity.
The event brought together several dignitaries, including members of the diplomatic community, student groups, and women’s organizations, among others.
