MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s Ambassador to the United States, Dr. Al Hassan Conteh, is calling on Liberians both in the diaspora and at home to join hands with the Liberian government in its commitment to improving the standard of living for all citizens.
According to a dispatch, Dr. Conteh said:” The commemoration of Unification Day should be a powerful reminder of the nation’s challenging past and its ongoing journey toward unity and peace.”
Dr. Conteh, in the dispatch, charged Liberians to continue to uphold the values of peace, unity, and reconciliation that have guided them and honor the sacrifices of their ancestors who dedicated themselves to bringing the nation together.
He encouraged diaspora Liberians to remain committed to being ambassadors of their nation by promoting the country’s interests, fostering cultural exchanges, and supporting development initiatives that will benefit the country.
Dr. Al Hassan Conteh said,” When Liberians reignite their sense of national pride, solidarity, and purpose, together they can move forward united in their quest for a brighter future where every citizen has access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.”
