Liberia’s Ambs. Designate to Egypt, South Africa Vow to Improve Liberia’s Relationship…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Two Ambassadors designate to Egypt and South Africa have vowed to improve Liberia’s relationship with their assigned countries.

 

The Ambassadors designate include Henry Fahnbulleh of Egypt and George Patten of South Africa.

 

During their confirmation hearing at the Liberian Senate on Monday, May 19, 2025, Ambassador Fahnbulleh said:” I will seek, cultivate, and solidify concrete partnerships to directly support each pillar of the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development.”

 

He said the approach aims to yield tangible benefits for the people of Liberia, while simultaneously strengthening the bond of friendship and cooperation with the Arab Republic of Egypt.

 

Also speaking, Ambassador Patten told the Liberian Senate Committee on Foreign Relations that he will build and foster greater cooperation, strengthen and expand the bilateral ties between Liberia and South Africa.
