RIVER GEE COUNTY, LIBERIA-River Gee County District One Representative Alexander Poure has submitted a bill calling for the establishment of the River Gee County Community College.
The bill aimed to enhance access to tertiary education for citizens and residents in that part of the country.
Representative Poure said,” The creation of the college will reduce youth migration in search of higher education and fostering job creation and innovation.”
The bill, when enacted, will see River Gee join other counties benefiting from similar institutions.
Meanwhile, the plenary of the House of Representatives has mandated its Committees on Education, Ways, Means, Finance, and Judiciary to review the bill.
