Pres. Boakai Presents Two Vehicles to Nat’l AIDS Commission

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has turned over two brand new double-seated vehicles to the National AIDS Commission.

The vehicles are intended to strengthen the Commission’s operations in the fight to end AIDS in Liberia by 2030.

Presenting the vehicles on behalf of the President, Madam Georgette Gray said,” The gesture is the President’s way of buttressing the Commission’s efforts at addressing pressing issues faced by the Commission.”

The turning over comes after the President committed two brand new pickups to the Commission at the 2025 Annual Fundraising Dinner over the weekend.

Madam Gray reaffirmed the President’s commitment to supporting the National AIDS Commission to meet its goal.

Receiving the vehicles, the Chairperson of the National AIDS Commission, Dr. Cecelia Nutah, thanked President Joseph Boakai for his support of the entity.

Dr. Nutah described the vehicles as instruments that will smooth the Commission’s activities across the country.

She said,” The move by the President also shows his unwavering commitment to ending AIDS in the country and helping restore the lives of those living with HIV.”

Dr. Cecelia Nutah assured of her colleagues’ commitment to ensuring that the vehicles be used for its intended purpose.

The National AIDS Commission Chairperson used the occasion to call on other donors and stakeholders to support the institution.
