MONROVIA, LIBERIA -The Education Ministry has disclosed that 12th. Graders across Liberia will officially resume classes for academic year 2019/2020 on Monday, June 22.
Education Minister, Ansu Sonii, told ELBC Wednesday that 12th. Graders will return to school, ahead of the students in lower grades to complete their preparation the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The WASSCE Exams, intended for 12th. Graders across West Africa, will be administered in this August.
Minister Sonii further disclosed that the decision to administer this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examinations is not Liberia’s decision, rather a decision by WASSCE member states.
The Education Ministry Boss, however, noted that the timetable for the resumption of classes by other students in the lower grades will be announced on a later date.
