MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Administrator of Snokri Clearing and Forwarding Firm is facing investigation for alleged conspiracy with SO MUCH DO, another business entity.
Snokri Clearing and Forwarding Firm is said to have acted as broker on behalf of SO MUCH TO DO, and falsely declared three-forty-fourth containers of Castro Beer as Vinegar Malt.
According to a release Wednesday, October 28, 2020, the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has temporarily suspended the brokerage license of Snokri Clearing and Forwarding Firm for duping Government of its lawful revenue, in violation of the Liberia Revenue Code.
The Liberia Revenue Code prohibits brokers, clearing and forwarding firms from engaging in unlawful acts that undermines Government’s revenue collection.
The release quotes LRA Assistant Commissioner for Compliance and Enforcement Division, Attorney Blamo Kofa, as saying Snokri Clearing and Forwarding Firm will face the full weight of the law, if found guilty.
