PAYNESVILLE, LIBERIA-The Director General of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), Estelle Liberty Kermoh, has extolled President George Weah for his continued support to the Management Team of the System.
Madam Liberty-Kermoh pledged to support Government’s information machinery, through the National Broadcaster to achieve its policy objectives.
The LBS Director-General made the remarks Wednesday, November 18, 2020, when she officially turned over the Office of Deputy Director-General for Rural Broadcasting to Mr. Isaac Redd, as the new Deputy Director-General for Rural Broadcasting.
Madam Liberty-Kermoh said:” Mr. Redd possesses professional expertise in the media, and as an experienced member of the LBS Management Team, he will improve the performance of the National Broadcaster.”
In remarks, the new LBS Deputy Director-General for Rural Broadcasting, Isaac Redd, expressed gratitude to President Weah and promised to justify the confidence reposed in him.
Mr. Redd also promised to improve the Rural Broadcasting Division of the System, through innovative programs targeting rural communities and civil society organizations to inform Liberians.
Deputizing for the Chairman of the Board of ELBC, Information Minister Ledgerhood Rennie, the Commissioner-General of the Liberia Maritime Authority, Len Eugene Nagbe, expressed confidence in the ability of Mr. Redd to serve in his new portfolio.
