MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Liberian President, George Weah has returned home following successful state visits to neighboring Cote D’ Ivoire and Guinea.
According to Information Minister, Lidgerwood Rennie President Weah and his entourage arrived in the country Tuesday, December 15, 2020, via the Roberts International Airport in Margibi County.
President Weah was among several sub-regional leaders who attended the inaugurations for President Alassane Ouattara and Alpha Conde of Cote D’ Ivoire and Guinea, respectively.
While in the Cote D’ Ivoire, the Liberian Chief Executive held with regional leaders on the sideline of the inaugural ceremony of President Ouattara including Ethiopian President, Sahle-Work Zewde.
The President also held similar bilateral talks with his sub-regional counterparts on the sideline of the inaugural ceremony of President Conde, focusing on development and peace.
According to an Executive Mansion release, President Weah and entourage departed the country Monday, via the Roberts International Airport on two-day state visits to the two West African countries.
