MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has identified with several health facilities, orphanages and less fortunate individuals across the Country, as part of the Christmas celebrations.
President Weah donated more than five-hundred bags of 25kg rice, several bags of beans and cash as Christmas packages to the beneficiaries.
The items are being distributed by a staff in the Office of the President, Toe Wesseh.
Mr. Wesseh said:” The Liberian Leader is concerned about putting smiles on the faces of people who cannot afford.”
He named some of the benefiting health centers as the TB Annex in Congo Town and John Kennedy Medical Center in Sinkor, Monrovia.
Others include Redemption Hospital on the Bushrod Island, CH Rennie in Kakata, Margibi County, Government Hospital in Tubmanburg, Bomi County, the Phebe Hospital in Bong County, among others.
Mr. Wesseh also noted that the JFK Memorial Hospital received fifty bags of rice and one-hundred-fifty-thousand Liberian Dollars, while the rest of the benefiting institutions received fifty bags of rice and fifty-thousand Liberian Dollars each.
