MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-Margibi County Senator, Emmanuel Nuquay, says consultations for the establishment of an organization to spearhead major developments in Margibi County have begun across the County.
Senator Nuquay said:” The proposed Margibi Development Corporation (MDC), among other things, will cater to under-developed areas in the County.”
He made the disclosure Sunday, January 17, 2021, when he served as Guest Speaker at the 7th Graduation of the Saint Paul Ecumenical High School in Unification Town in Margibi County.
Senator Nuquay named road connectivity, healthcare, education and infrastructure, among others, as initiatives the MDC would undertake across the Country.
Senator Nuquay is also urging all citizens and residents of the County to support the proposed MDC initiative.
In another development, the Margibi County Senator is urging students of the County to see themselves as the light for their communities and society at large.
He also wants students to be focused and set achievable goals to enhance their learning abilities.
Senator Nuquay is at the same time calling on elected and appointed leaders of Government to always advocate for the welfare of their people.
Meanwhile, Senator Nuquay has launched a two-hundred-thousand Liberian Dollar Scholarship program at the school for Academic 2020/2021, and also established a five-hundred-thousand Liberian Dollar Scholarship for other students who are not attending the school.
