MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) Director General, Estelle Liberty-Kemoh, is admonishing graduates of the Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA) to demonstrate the culture and self-esteem.
Director General Kemoh said:” Demonstrating the culture of discipline and self-esteem, while showing respect for co-workers at job places, is a key recipe for staff growth and elevation.”
She made the admonition on Saturday, March 6, 2021, when she delivered the key-note address at LIPA’s First Cycle Training program graduation ceremony, at the Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, outside Monrovia.
Mrs. Kemoh warned that failure to adhere to such rudiments, the growth and elevation of staff in work places would be grossly undermined.
She also named the chain of command, compliance, effective communication and timeliness as important features that drive institutional growth.
The LBS Boss then lauded LIPA’s Management and Training Staff for the knowledge imparted to the participants.
Professionals from various institutions received certificates and diplomas in various disciplines at the close of the training cycle.
Meanwhile, the Director General of LIPA, Alexander Yonlay, says the institution has made a significant milestone in the Country’s human resource capacity building agenda.
Mr. Yonlay said:” I am proud that the institution’s goal of providing the tools and the enabling environment for career development is yielding positive results.”
He paid tribute to the Liberian Government and partners for their support to the smooth running of the institution.
Director Yonlay also lauded the Management and Staff of LIPA for their professional expertise and commitment to duty.
Addressing graduates of the training cycle, Director Yonlay, challenged them to make a difference by practicalizing the professional skills acquired, to accelerate growth and development in the Country.
Meanwhile, the LIPA Boss has admonished the graduates to be loyal to the State and avoid temptation to violent acts that could undermine the peace and stability of the Country.
