MONROVIA, LIBERIA-World Bank Country Director for Liberia, Khwima Nthara, has stressed the need for change of mindset and attitude among Africans in a bid to fast track development on the continent.
Mr. Nthara said:” Many Africans have bad mindsets and attitudes in politics, entrepreneurship and other spheres of society, which is a problem to development.”
The World Bank County Director for Liberia made the comment over the weekend at the opening program of the A.M. Kyne Collegiate Resource Center on 12th Street in Sinkor, Monrovia.
He said:” The opening of the Resource Center will help Government and partners improve learning outcomes, while improving the capacity of Liberian youths to meet their full potentials.”
Speaking earlier, the Founder and Executive Director of the Resource Center, Rev. Adam Kyne, explained that the center will embark on several programs to promote academic activities, integrity, leadership and entrepreneurship, among others.
