MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Gender and Social Inclusion at the Platform Form for Peace and Dialogue (P4DP), has challenged several students and market women to remain educated and aware their rights and privileges they deserve.
Mrs. Deimah MCcrownsey challenged the participants including students, market women and girls at this year’s International Women Day celebration to insist on their rights.
In separate remarks, the participants recognized the need for education, against abused and called for the protection of women and girls rights.
This year’s International Day of the Women, under the theme; ‘Choose To Challenge Gender Stereotype’ was organized by Platform Form for Peace and Dialogue (P4DP) in collaboration with a youth Advocacy group, Arise Impact Initiative Liberia.
For his part, the Co-Founder of Arise Impact Initiative Liberia, Joseph A. Massaboi encouraged the market women and girls to be professional and remain productive in empowering themselves in their trade.
The out rich in celebration of International Women Day took place Monday, March 8,2021 and held at G.W. Gibson High School, the Rally Time Market and Jorkpeen Town Market in Central Monrovia.
