MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Executive Director for the Foundation for the Empowerment of Rural Dwellers, has described advocacy for improved rural WASH services as critical.
Jonah Toe said an effective advocacy will broaden scope of rural dwellers on their rights to water, sanitation and hygiene.
Mr. Toe in an ELBC interview said his organization will shortly commence awareness on WASH in 30 communities in Grand Kru and River Gee Counties.
According to him, the commencement of the Water Aid –Liberia project, will focus on local authorities and duty bearers in both counties.
The Executive Director disclosed that due to the eruption of COVID-19 the implementation of the project in 2020 and it has been extended to 2021.
