PAYNEVILLE CITY, MONTSERRADO COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Management of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) is assuring squatters on its transmitter site in Paynesville, Red Light, of no immediate plans to remove or demolish their structure.
The structures under consideration for demolition are market stalls, due to the movement of marketers from the Gobachev to Omega Marketers.
The LBS Management gave the assurance on Sunday. July 12, 2021, when a delegation from the system headed by the Deputy Director General for Rural Broadcasting met with community leaders, business owners and private residents currently squatting on the property.
Director Isaac Redd is calling on all concern persons to remain calm, as the Management derives at a best possible outcome of negotiations to relocate squatters.
