MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has ended a tour of several development projects under construction in Monrovia, Bushrod Island and Paynesville.
ELBC reporter said President Weah earlier visited the township of West Point, before inspecting the Duala and 14-Gorbachev Markets.
In West Point, the Liberian Leader dedicated a new market and assured residents of Government’s commitment to their livelihood.
According to our reporter, President Weah was pleased with the level of ongoing works at the Duala Market, when he was briefed by contractors.
The market project is being undertaken by the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).
Meanwhile, President Weah is expected to on Friday, August 27, 2021; visit the Islamic School in Bassa Community, in the Red Light commercial district that was gutted by fire, in 2019, killing about 28 students.
