MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Public Works Ministry has embarked on the reconditioning of the Saclepea -Tappita Highway in Lower Nimba County.
This followed a memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry and the Nimba Legislative Caucus over the weekend.
Acting Public Works Minister, Ruth Coker Collins signed on behalf of the Executive while Representatives Dorwon Gleekia and Roger Domah signed on behalf of the Nimba Legislative Caucus.
The Acting Public Works Minister said the reconditioning of the road will bring relief to local residents and commuters who are currently stranded due to the deplorable condition of the road.
She told our Lower Nimba County Correspondent that the reconditioning of the road will last for about 20 days.
