GRAND GEDEH, LIBERIA – Several traditional Zoes and Herbalists in grand Gedeh County risk being ban by the National Traditional Council for operating illegally in the county.
The Traditional has alarmed that many of the Zoes and Herbalists in Grand Gedeh are operating without licenses from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Traditional Council.
ELBC Correspondent said the Traditional Council’s local office in Grand Gedeh has since put a halt to the operations of traditional herbalists and zoes in the county.
Our Correspondent said the latest action was triggered by the recent arrival of an authorized herbalist from neighboring Ivory Coast whose activities have raised series of concerns from citizens.
The Spokesperson of the Council’s local office Joseph Taryon said activities of the zoes in the county will remain on hold until their statuses are regularized.
