MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Former Liberia President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf is calling for collective efforts toward keeping Monrovia clean.
Madam Sirleaf wants Liberians buttress efforts by the City Government as opposed to criticizing them.
According to her, the process of keeping the city clean must begin from the respective homes of residents and the communities.
The former Liberian Leader was speaking to reporters Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the Monrovia City Hall, following a meeting with the Lord Mayor Jefferson Koigee.
In remarks, Monrovia City Mayor Koigee committed the corporation to maintaining a clean and green city.
Meanwhile, Mayor Koigee has stressed the need to revisit the City Ordinance to meet current day realities.
