MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The alleged killers of the late John Hilary Tubman were sent to the Monrovia Central Prison, for alleged murder, criminal conspiracy and theft of property.
Defendants Christian Anderson, Aloysius Garblah and Emmanuel Forkey, on September 22, met at Rehab Community, where they held discussion to attack the late John Tubman.
Defendant Byron once worked as a painter, and his accomplices purchased a rope to tie the late Tubman, so as to gain entry in his compound. They bought huge quantity of snuff and tobacco, and mixed it with sausages and give it to the dogs.
The police charge sheet indicated that they were around the house, where defendant Byron hid himself in one of the rooms.
After the deceased fell asleep, they tied his neck with the rope, with defendant Emmanuel Forkey holding his legs.
The late Tubman recognized Byron and pleaded not to kill him, rather, any amount of money he needed, he will give.
In the process, Byron refused and began dragging him with the rope tied around his neck, with his colleague used cutlasses to assault the deceased.
